Job Title: Cleaner (On-call/ Casual)

Job Type: On-call, Casual (adaptable scheduling with the potential for full-time hours)

Hourly Wage/Salary: $18.00/hour

Required Qualifications

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset
- Experience in shelter, healthcare, or social service environments is an asset
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning and safety procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

Required Certifications and Education:
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- WHMIS Certificate
- Occupational Health & Safety Awareness Certificate
- Workplace Violence & Harassment Certificate
- AODA Certificate

Required Experience:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience in high-traffic environments is an asset

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean and maintain common areas, washrooms, offices,



and client spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces
- Dispose of waste and recycling
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Follow infection prevention and workplace safety procedures
- Report maintenance, safety, and sanitation concerns

Company/Workplace Location: Various client locations across Ontario. Successful candidates will be employed through Alpha Resources Ltd. and assigned to partner organizations based on client needs, availability, qualifications, and operational requirements. Exact worksite addresses will be provided before placement so candidates can assess commute and accessibility requirements.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
