Job Responsibility:

Job Summary: The Site Material Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing the transportation of materials to and from construction sites. This role ensures that materials are delivered on time, in the right quantities, and in good condition to support the productive progress of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans to ensure timely delivery of materials. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.
- Scheduling: Create and manage delivery schedules to align with project timelines and minimize delays.
- Load Management: loading and unloading of materials to ensure safe and efficient handling. Verify that materials are properly secured for transport.
- Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation laws and best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material shipments, including delivery receipts, invoices, and transportation logs. Prepare regular reports on transportation activities.
- Problem Resolution:



Address any issues or delays in material transport. Communicate with stakeholders to resolve problems and ensure smooth operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and material management teams to coordinate transportation activities and meet project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Class 5 Drivers License
- Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in material transport.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to operate 1-Ton truck with 40' Gooseneck Trailer
- Ticket to operate SkidSteer

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Willingness to work on-site and in various weather conditions.
