MedPros is a growing healthcare consulting and management company. We support medical clinics, physicians and pharmacies across Ontario with clinic management, physician recruitment, medical billing and clinic development.
About the role
This is an office-based coordination and leadership role. Most of your time will be at our head office. You'll manage operations for the clinics we run, support clinic management, own client relationships and drive business development with our leadership team. Now and then you'll step into one of our clinics to cover a shift, for example when someone calls in sick.
This role suits someone who has already led people, run an office, or managed clients or a book of business, and who's ready to take ownership in a rapid-moving company. Clinic know-how is a big plus, and we'll train the right person on the rest.
What you'll own
Clinic operations and team coordination
- Manage day-to-day operations for MedPros-managed clinics, both from the office and in person
- Supervise and support MOAs and front desk staff, including scheduling, training and performance
- Act as the main point of contact for physicians and clinic managers on operational issues
- Lead physician onboarding, staffing coverage and inventory processes
- Find workflow gaps and put solutions in place that stick
- Provide occasional backup MOA coverage at our clinics when staff are away
Client relations and business development
- Manage relationships with physicians, clinic owners and partners, from first enquiry through onboarding
- Present our services, negotiate terms and turn leads into signed clients
- Own the sales pipeline, follow-ups and lead database
- Prepare proposals, presentations and reports for clients and leadership
Business and marketing support
- Coordinate recruitment, HR and payroll prep
- Support marketing campaigns and outreach, and track the results
- Manage projects, deadlines and priorities across several clinics at once
What we're looking for
- 2 to 3 years in a supervisory, coordination or management role, whether in a medical clinic, an office, sales or another customer-facing business
- A track record of leading a team, running an office, or managing clients or sales targets
- Experience in an Ontario medical clinic as a lead MOA, office manager or clinic coordinator is a strong asset
- Confidence speaking and negotiating with physicians, business owners and senior decision-makers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and comfort working independently
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills; EMR experience is an asset
- Experience with billing, HR, payroll or marketing is a bonus
- G licence and your own vehicle preferred
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
What we offer
- A $50,000 to $58,000 salary, based on experience
- A performance-based bonus tied to client growth
- Direct work with company leadership
- A clear path into a management role as we expand
- Hands-on exposure to healthcare management, operations and business development
