We encourage participation in the entire product development process, and you will have the opportunity to help define Unblocked and shape its roadmap, implement the solutions that deliver the experience customers love, and get firsthand feedback from the teams who use what we have built.

You’re an experienced software development engineer with a track record of building and shipping products that customers love. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a critical role in architecting, building, and scaling the core systems that power Unblocked. Work independently on smaller projects and deliver them on time, gradually taking on larger projects and mentoring other team members.

Build and optimize scalable data pipelines that ingest and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Work closely with product designers and frontend developers to create and implement end-to-end user experiences that are intuitive and delightful.





Work closely with devops and security teams to ensure that our systems are secure and resilient. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia (and be in the office 4 days a week).

Expert-level software development skills in a modern typesafe development language. We use Kotlin, TS, and Python.

Experiences building well-tested, scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Familiarity with a Cloud Platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Demonstrated leadership of fellow team members in the delivery of a project.

Experience collaborating with DevOps teams.

Anxious to design, build, and ship solutions on aggressive timelines; Solid communication skills; Must be an effective champion for the interests of the customer.
