Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Education Degree and be eligible for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate.
The following criteria will be significant considerations in the hiring process:
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Knowledge of or willingness to become familiar with, the Our Languages Curriculum
- Resource-based teaching
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and to build positive relationships
- Proven experience working with students in an organized setting
- Candidates must work well with a group of professionals
- Understanding of professionalism and positive experience demonstrating this ability.
BDEC will assist eligible candidates to receive training in Our Languages Curriculum.
