This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with transportation management systems. If you have experience in shipping and receiving, freight management, or supply chain logistics, we encourage you to apply.
Plans and schedules for drivers to ensure proper staffing across all shifts and loads, ensuring alignment with volumes and service expectations.
Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and inventory.
Monitor freight movements and address any delays or discrepancies promptly.
Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with clients and team members.
Compiles data on incidents and accidents,



distributes and communications with appropriate personnel.
Assist in the shipping and receiving processes as needed.
Follow all CommerceLink Logistics policies, procedures, and safety standards
Previous dispatch or transportation coordination experience (preferably in trucking/logistics).
Computer skills, TMW experience, Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
Awareness of Highway traffic act including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions etc. (would be an asset).
Proficient in using trucking software for data entry and shipment tracking.
Solid communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information over the phone, including written (reports) Emails.
Intermediate keyboarding skills using a PC and knowledge of email, word processing and Excel spreadsheet experience.
