Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a highly qualified Commercial Account Representative to join our Commercial Insurance - Programs Team! You will work closely with the Sales Consultant and Commercial Account Assistanton new and existing clients. Responsible for all aspects of service on assigned book of business Review current business and renewal policies to ensure accuracy and completeness Manage day to day requests from clients and insurance companies Request endorsements, including additions and deletions to policy and provide support when needed to Commercial Account Assistant for final processing Maintain accurate account billing and correct accounting discrepancies in a timely manner Responsible for accounts receivable on assigned book of business and following accounts receivable procedures Contribute to the client relationship by providing customer service excellence in all client dealings and attend client meetings as required Provide backup support to other members of the program team as required Experience in servicing commercial insurance accounts ~ High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset ~ CAIB or CIP designations (or working toward designations) would be an asset ~ Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) ~ Experience with EPIC would be an asset ~ Proudly independent and Canadian-owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
