About Unicell Supply

Unicell Janitorial Supply is a growing supplier of commercial cleaning products, equipment, and janitorial supplies serving businesses throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.

We supply cleaning companies, restaurants, offices, property managers, and commercial facilities with the products they need to keep their operations running.

We are looking for a motivated, personable Sales Associate with hands-on commercial cleaning experience to join our Chilliwack team.

About the Role

This is not your typical retail sales position!

We are looking for someone who understands commercial cleaning and can use that knowledge to help businesses choose the right cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.

The ideal candidate has previously worked as a commercial cleaner, cleaning supervisor, janitorial supply representative, or in a related industry.

You will help customers in-store, manage existing customer accounts, recommend products, follow up on orders, and help grow our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers in-store, by phone, and by email with product inquiries and orders.
- Recommend appropriate cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, and janitorial supplies based on customer needs.
- Build relationships with existing commercial customers and follow up regularly to ensure they have the supplies they need.
- Proactively contact customers regarding reorders, new products, promotions, and opportunities to save money.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Contact prospective commercial customers and introduce them to Unicell's products and services.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and order preparation.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries or other store operations as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or the cleaning supply industry.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.




- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and in person.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our sales and inventory software.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Car and valid Class 5 BC Driving License

Preferred:

- Previous retail, customer service, or B2B sales experience.
- Experience as a commercial cleaning supervisor or team lead.
- Knowledge of floor care, commercial cleaning equipment, disinfectants, and janitorial chemicals.
- Existing knowledge of cleaning companies and commercial facility operations.
