Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The Room Attendant is expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems. Weekend availability is a must! These are all early morning shifts.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and/or designate, the Room Attendant is responsible for:

Enters and prepares the room for cleaning;

Makes the bed(s) according to hotel standards;

Performs rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) Maintains work area and equipment according to hotel standards;

Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him;

Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces;

Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift;

Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
