Java Developer

Our team of engineers, at all levels, work with the business leaders in defining the product roadmap and come up with cutting-edge solutions to grow the future of travel. We design and develop our back end systems and REST APIs that serve billion plus searches a day, collecting and parsing data across thousands of partners to get the best deals for our customers.

Contribute to critical projects that directly impact Priceline's business strategy.

Accelerate your productivity by utilizing cutting-edge Generative AI tools like Gemini and Cursor.

Develop high-performance, cloud-native applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.

Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services supported by CI/CD pipelines.

Utilize SQL to collect and query data for investigation and analysis in real-time.

Work within a cross-functional Agile team focused on continuous experimentation and delivery.

Engage in open collaboration, offering technical solutions and participating in constructive team decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot for building high-performance applications.
- Thorough SQL composition skills for querying and analysis.
- Splunk, New Relic) to troubleshoot and optimize performance.




- Proficiency in version control best practices using Git and Gitflow.
- Experience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP and AWS.

- "There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant. The salary range for this position is $100,000-120,000 CAD.
