Title: DC Operations Planning Manager
The DC Operations Planning Manager is responsible for providing short and medium-term production plans for the Canadian Distribution Centres. Through a very close partnership with Distribution and Transportation, the DC Operations Planning Manager provides end to end visibility and planning, guidance and communication to the Distribution and Transportation leadership teams to ensure key performance indicators are met, production/staffing plans support throughput demand, building flow is balanced and load plans are efficient to ensure exceptional customer service to the Home Depot of Canada stores.
Development of daily, weekly, monthly volume and labour plans to ensure product delivery timelines and performance metrics are met. Adjust plans as needed to react to changing priorities, or circumstances.
Drive Productivity and Continuous Improvement




Develop and present regular performance reports to track KPIs, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement.
Lead process improvement initiatives and projects
creates a sense of urgency and holds self and the team accountable for their performance.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, applies creative thinking. Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw insights.
Ability to utilize fundamental concepts of finance to manage budgets, forecast costs, and provide information to account for the financial impact of decision-making

Travel Requirements
~ Limited (travel to other distribution centres and SSC as required)

Working in an office setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, taking support calls
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience
~ Not required but considered an asset.

Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visual Basic, Word and Visio.

EWM, SAP, WMS, TMS, YMS)

Experience with a mechanized/automated distribution centers with multiple pick-pack processes would be a definite asset
