The Intermediate

Accountant will be responsible for assisting the monthly, quarterly and yearly activities of the Corporate Accounting department to ensure quality and accuracy of accounting records and financial reports for our Canadian and US operating and corporate entities. Requires an understanding of full cycle accounting. Prepare account analyses and supporting documents for routine classes of transactions for operating and corporate entities for interim and year-end audit Prepares working papers for financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations,



that effectively communicate the financial information and provides efficient and meaningful contributions to the team Be responsible for the maintenance of key financial reporting line items, such as capital assets, intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, rent schedules, property tax entries, etc.

Department analysis Assist in the appropriate recognition and analyses of deferred labour costs Analyze parts inventory variance for corporate warehouses and resolve issues with Parts Managers Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports Other departments include FP&A;, Inventory, Tax, etc.. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting required Accounting designation (CPA) or working towards CPA designation preferred Strong business ethics and sense of personal responsibility with a professional approach Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Capable of building relationships with stakeholders within the company and other team members Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Extended Medical (including Vision) Dental Long Term and Short-Term Disability Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance On-going training opportunities CPA dues and professional development #
