Youth Coach Location: LDAWE Office – 3640 Wells St., Posting Status: Part time Contract – November 23, 2026 – June 30, 2027
The Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor-Essex County seeks a compassionate and resourceful Youth Coach to support individuals navigating challenges related to executive functioning, education, employment, and life skills. This is a short-term contract position with the potential for extension, pending funding.
As a Youth Coach, you’ll provide individualized coaching to help youth (ages 15-29 ) develop self-awareness, build structure and routines, improve organization and time management, and reach personal, academic, and career goals. We provide regular supervision and team support.
This is a contract position with potential for renewal based on funding availability.
Work 1:1 with youth to achieve their goals
Support participants with goal setting and action planning for school, employment, and personal growth.
Help youth improve time management, organization and planning skills.




Offer practical tools for navigating transitions, overcoming barriers and building confidence.
Collaborate with other support staff and community partners as needed.
Post-secondary education in social work, psychology, education, coaching or related fields;
Coaching certification or relevant training is an asset but not required.
Experience coaching or mentoring youth, preferably those with ADHD or learning disabilities;
Understanding of disabilities, including learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD;
Understanding of disability & ADHD-informed approaches;
Knowledge of community resources related to education, employment and mental health;
Comfortable working independently and remotely, if needed;
