As a Mechanical Engineer Project Manager, you will take a lead role in delivering building services projects across the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area. Working in a remote-first environment, you will combine technical design expertise with project management and client-facing responsibilities.
You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of mechanical projects, supporting business development initiatives, and mentoring junior team members. Your role will include preparing calculations and specifications, developing layouts and drawings, conducting site assessments, managing schedules and budgets,
and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.6–8+ years of consulting engineering experience within building systems
- Strong technical background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Experience with facility upgrades, retrofits, and equipment replacement projects
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with project financials and ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Ajera) is an asset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong knowledge of BC building codes and industry standards
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel for site and client visits
