Reporting to the Chair of Quality Assurance, Research, & Curriculum for the School of Health Sciences and Community Services, the Research Assistant is responsible for providing support for a range of research activities including survey research, qualitative research, environmental scans, data storytelling and reporting. contributing to the design and development of research projects; conducting research activities; collecting, documenting and analyzing data; participating in outreach and promotion activities, and supporting strategic initiatives within the School.
Diploma in a relevant field of study (ie. Market Research, Business Analytics, Health or Social Sciences Research)
Several years of research related work experience
Experience managing surveys including survey design, survey management, and sample management
Experience writing formal reports, briefing notes, research summaries, and presentations
Data analysis skills including knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS etc.




Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Ability to undertake multiple tasks with limited supervision
Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
Experience working with dashboards and visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
