The primary purpose of this position is to work as an active member of the health care team under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, providing a high standard of care to clients at the Labrador West Health Centre and in accordance with the LGH Model of Nursing Clinical Practice. Graduation from high school or equivalency;

- Successful completion of Mosby’s Suite Suicide Assessment and Precautions or willingness to complete (within time frame designated by the employer);
- Obtains reports on client’s behaviour and plan of care, specifically relating to safety and security issues;
- Responds to client’s needs and requests in consultation with the assigned nurse;
- Documents according to organizational policies and unit guidelines;
