Title: Content & Organic Growth Specialist (1 position) Reports to: Content Marketing Manager - ShootProof Location: Remote (CAN) ShootProof is business software for photographers. We host client galleries and provide tools like booking, contracts, and invoices to support the day-to-day running of a photography studio. We’re hiring a Content & Organic Growth Specialist to help more photographers find ShootProof, whether they’re digging through Reddit or asking ChatGPT which gallery platform to use.

You’ll write a lot of what we publish and handle our social channels day to day. The marketing team’s job is to make photographers feel less alone in the unglamorous parts of their work. One of our most-shared recent posts was simply, “my love language is clients who pay on time.” Reporting to our Content Marketing Manager, you’ll have plenty of room to take creative risks knowing if one doesn’t quite land, the team has your back.

She sets the direction and reviews the work, and you keep her plugged into the trends and data that make the strategy sharper. You’ll also partner with our Senior Product Marketing Manager on affiliate projects. Our marketing team is small and close-knit, and we don’t draw hard lines between roles.

On any given week you might help a teammate finish a campaign or pick up a quick video edit. Make content people stop scrolling # Write blog posts, landing pages, ad creative, social posts, and video scripts that sound like a person wrote them (because one did). # Make quick graphics and short video edits yourself, and team up with our in-house designers and freelance video editors on bigger projects. Run and grow our social presence # Handle posting, scheduling, and community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit,



with Reddit and YouTube at the top of the list of growth opportunities. # Keep tabs on what’s trending and what’s performing, and bring those insights to our Senior Content Manager to help shape strategy. # Scout platforms we’re not on yet, like TikTok, LinkedIn, or Pinterest, and pitch us on which ones are worth testing, and how.

Help the right people (and AI) find us # When photographers ask AI tools for recommendations, we want ShootProof in the answer. That means writing content that ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews can understand and cite, and it also means getting us mentioned in places we don’t control, like Reddit threads, YouTube videos, reviews, and other people’s blogs. # Help our Senior Product Marketing Manager turn affiliates into some of our best sources of third-party content. You’ll give them ideas and examples that make their posts and videos about ShootProof worth watching.

You have one to three years of experience in content, social media, or community marketing. Really good writing. You know what struggles keep photographers up at night. You use AI tools, and know when to put them down.

Everything our audience reads should come from you, but AI is fair game for research and planning. You know about AI findability (AEO/GEO), like how AI tools pick their sources and why Reddit and YouTube matter so much. You enjoy making simple graphics and editing short videos (and know how to keep them on-brand).





You’ve helped grow a brand on a new social platform. The salary range for this position is CAD 60,000 to CAD 70,000 (median to high). Total compensation includes salary,annual bonus and comprehensive perks coverage (Health, vision, dental and RRSP (with matching))from day 1 of employment.
