Title: Public Relations Specialist Marketing & Corporate Communications Permanent – Full time Air Canada Vacations is seeking an experienced PR Specialist to join its Corporate Communications team. In this role, you’ll help shape and support Air Canada Vacations corporate image while maintaining its status as a leader in the leisure travel industry. Participate in the planning and execution of PR strategies.

Support with media relations and filter requests. Conduct media outreach including pitching, follow-up and reporting. Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.

Coordinate Air Canada

Vacations annual travel awards program. Take part in the ideation process of PR initiatives. Participate in the company’s environmental audit and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting.

Lead Air Canada Vacations Sustainability

Committee and initiatives. Create a variety of communications, including but not limited to, presentations, news releases, pitches and partnership decks.



Support with Crisis Communications, including travel advisories. Stay up to date with travel industry trends, media contacts, and potential new channels and strategies to help grow and reach recent audiences. Support with coordination of internal and external events.

Support Internal

Communications with projects, as required. Bilingual – English & French, verbal and written University degree or Cegep diploma in a related field or equivalent experience Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, TEAMs and JIRA, with willingness to learn new programs and platforms Understanding of social marketing principles and strategies Travel Industry experience considered an asset but not required Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment #
