Position Overview

Truewaste is currently hiring a D-Class Truck Driver to handle daily waste collection and transportation using company vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and customer-focused with a robust work ethic.

Qualifications

- Valid D-Class license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum [3 years] experience driving D-Class vehicles (required).
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and provincial regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Experience in waste or recycling industry is an asset.

Key Responsibilities





- Operate D-Class trucks to collect and transport waste and recycling materials.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining efficiency and safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring quality service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Keep trucks clean and properly maintained.
- Accurately complete required paperwork or digital logs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- Commercial driving: 3 years (required)
