We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery and Warehouse Person to join our team. This role involves coordinating deliveries, managing warehouse operations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of heavy lifting, and possess a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport furniture and appliances to various locations
- Load and unload products
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and delivery areas
- Move heavy items as needed, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
- Positive organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at work sites and warehouses
Pay: $18.57-$26.30 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
