The AZ Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Ottawa. 4 day work week (Saturdays & 3 other days TBD) ~Starting hourly rate of $31.11 with increases with months of service! ~ Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment ~ Ensures safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products.

Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 600 - 1000 cases/shift) Build and maintain good customer relationships. Demonstrates self-control. Accurately collects customer payments.

Safeguards company funds and follows GFS banking policies. Performs proper equipment maintenance, monitors reefer temperature, and reports mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner. Collaborates with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns.

Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment. Maintains peer relationships in the field to share issues and ideas.

Valid

Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification Excellent customer service skills Strong mechanical aptitude A high level of integrity and a robust work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed High School Diploma or equivalent Availability for weekends And because of this collaboration, we've created an atmosphere that's fun, supportive , and alive with energy!
