Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Prep Cook to join our team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service, culinary skills, and logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering orders efficiently while also assisting in food preparation to ensure timely service. A robust work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks are essential for success in this role.

Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver food and supplies to customers and vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes as needed
- Load and unload supplies using moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and delivery areas
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and inventory needs




- Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment up to specified weight limits
- Follow safety protocols during all operations, including proper handling of food and equipment

Experience

- Prior warehouse or warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- Experience operating forklifts or other moving equipment is a plus
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license is necessary
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout shifts
- Familiarity with food prep or culinary environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for coordinating deliveries and food prep tasks

Pay: $18.25-$25.24 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
