We are a small family practice, patient-focused dental practice located in beautiful Owen Sound, Ontario. Our clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality oral healthcare in a warm, welcoming environment. We are seeking a reliable, positive, and compassionate Dental Assistant (Level I or II) to join our growing clinical team.

In this role, you will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to deliver exceptional chairside care, maintain strict infection control standards, and ensure our patients have a comfortable, stress-free experience. Provide dynamic chairside assistance to the dentist during general, restorative, or cosmetic dental procedures. Greet and prepare patients for treatment, review medical histories, and explain post-operative care instructions.

Clean, sterilize, and set up dental instruments and treatment rooms in strict accordance with Public Health Ontario guidelines.

Radiography & Lab Tasks: Take high-quality digital dental X-rays (panoramic and intraoral)



and assist with digital impressions or laboratory work where applicable.

Digital Practice Management: Use our dental software systems to track clinical notes, update patient records, and coordinate with the administrative team. Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program (NDAEB certificate preferred).

Certification as a Level I or Level II Dental Assistant in Ontario. Current CPR / First Aid certification.

Software Proficiency: Practical experience with Dentrix and/or Akitu One practice management software is highly preferred. Earn a top-tier hourly wage matching your experience level ($25.00-$32.00/hr) in accordance with Ontario Dental Assistants Association guidelines. A predictable daytime schedule with an extended 3-day weekend every other week.
