About Agoda At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide.
Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us. Agoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more.
Based in Asia and part of Booking Holdings, our 4,000+ employees representing 90+ nationalities foster a work environment rich in diversity, creativity, and collaboration. We innovate through a culture of experimentation and ownership, enhancing the ability for our customers to experience the world. The Design team is a diverse group of product designers and researchers that help to build Agoda’s products from our home office in Bangkok.
Focus on your craft to improve or expand your skill set, or step into a managerial role and flex your talents by driving team projects. Be a part of Agoda’s Design team and unlock the world for our global community of hotels and travelers. The team works across Agoda’s shared customer experience platform, helping evolve and migrate experiences that are used across multiple products and platforms.
As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in moving existing experiences onto our current platform while ensuring we maintain a consistent, high-quality customer experience. A big part of the role is understanding what exists today across different platforms, identifying feature parity and UX gaps, and making thoughtful decisions about what should be migrated, adapted, simplified, or left behind. You’ll need to balance customer needs,
platform capabilities, and business priorities while paying close attention to the details that make an experience work well at scale. 5 years of full-time experience as a Product Designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred. ~ Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of UX and UI fundamentals, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and gaps across different platforms and experiences. ~ Experience working with complex products, systems, or platform-level experiences, and the ability to understand feature parity across different implementations. ~ Strong design judgment and product thinking - able to make clear calls on what should be migrated, adapted, simplified, or redesigned rather than treating migration as a one-to-one copy. ~ Ability to balance consistency and scalability with the needs of different products, platforms, and customer contexts. ~ Clear communication skills to explain design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale ~ A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions showcasing beautiful, user-centered web and mobile product design.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and other partners to align on scope, requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines. Design end-to-end product experiences, from early exploration to high-fidelity designs. Test ideas, prototypes, and hypotheses with users to gather actionable feedback and iterate on solutions.
