Director Manufacturing and Operations - Electronics (Vancouver, BC) A stable, growing electronics manufacturer is hiring a Director of Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to turn a heavy, fast-moving order book into consistent, on-time delivery. This leader owns production and engineering end-to-end, building the scheduling, planning, and accountability discipline needed to keep pace with demand. The organization designs and manufactures mission-critical components, holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification, and ships every unit individually tested.

It is founder-owned and has a senior engineering team with deep product knowledge. Solid technical foundations are in place; Own and drive the full production schedule across all active orders.

Build repeatable production processes and hold teams accountable to delivery dates.

Resolve cross-functional technical issues and sign off on certification readiness.





Identify bottlenecks and risks early; Mentor engineering and production leads to strengthen capability and reduce single-point dependencies.

10+ years in manufacturing and operations, including 5+ years with direct accountability for production and delivery.

able to evaluate technical claims directly.

Experience in a busy, high-mix, low-volume, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Operational leadership in scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.

Credibility with senior technical teams earned through competence.

Hardware, electronics, RF, microwave, or satellite communications experience; This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and is looking to drive innovation, efficiency, and team success.
