Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and prep tasks to facilitate efficient service
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Ensure all dishes are stored properly and equipment is maintained in good working order




- Assist with trash removal and recycling to uphold health regulations
- Support the team during busy service hours by performing various kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds
- Experience with food service or hospitality roles is considered an asset but not mandatory

This position provides valuable experience in the culinary industry and an opportunity to grow within a supportive team environment. Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
