Description

Montreal Lake Cree Nation is seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Diverse Needs Support Worker to support preschool children who require additional assistance to participate safely and meaningfully in early learning activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Early Childhood Educators, families, and other support professionals to promote each child's development, inclusion, independence, and overall well-being in a safe, nurturing, and culturally supportive workplace.

Provide individualized support to preschool children with diverse developmental, behavioural, communication, physical, social, or emotional needs. Assist children with daily routines, transitions, personal care, play-based learning, communication, and social interaction as required. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, participation, and peer relationships while respecting each child's abilities, dignity, and individual needs.

Work collaboratively with educators, families, and relevant professionals to implement recommended strategies and individualized support plans.
