Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Drywall Installer Instructor to join our training team. This role involves delivering comprehensive instruction on drywall installation techniques, safety procedures, and best practices to students and apprentices. The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom experience and a passion for teaching, with the ability to effectively communicate technical skills and foster a positive learning environment.

This position offers an opportunity to share industry expertise while helping develop the next generation of skilled drywall installers.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and informative lessons on drywall installation, finishing, and safety protocols to students of varying skill levels
- Develop curriculum materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises aligned with industry standards
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support skill development
- Demonstrate proper techniques for drywall hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing
- Ensure a protected learning environment by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures during instruction




- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance teaching content
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve training programs and student outcomes

Requirements

- Proven experience as a drywall installer or in related construction roles with extensive hands-on knowledge of drywall techniques
- Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to learners
- Ability to develop instructional materials and adapt teaching methods to diverse audiences
- Commitment to safety standards and best practices in construction training
- Certification or licensing in drywall installation or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Passion for education and mentoring aspiring professionals in the industry
- must have a Red seal certification himself

Pay: $39.94-$55.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
