Job Details

- Wage: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
- *ECE’s are qualified for additional $6 Wage Enhancement
- Fixed term: Nov 30th 2026 – Jan 15th 2027 (Total 7 weeks and 2 weeks unpaid winter break during this period)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8.5 Hour shift/Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5:15pm)

Key Responsibilities

- Work in ratio with a group of up to 16 children alongside Head ECE.
- Supervise and lead a group of 30 months to school aged children in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive workplace.
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities that promote social, emotional and physical development.
- Support children’s daily routines, transitions, and self-help skills while fostering independence and confidence.




- Maintain open and professional communication with parents, guardians, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the program space.
- Familiar and comply with Child Care licensing regulation.
- Help Head ECE in leading and practicing children for annual Christmas Service performance on December 20th 2026.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience working in group childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to pass a clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Holds one of these certificates: ECE, ECEA
- Minimum two reference letters
