Join Veolia Group as an EHS Specialist at our Guelph/Ancaster facility. Drive health, safety, and compliance programs, ensuring a secure and sustainable work environment for all employees. The EHS Specialist will oversee the implementation of Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and OSHA compliance programs.

This role requires a strong understanding of environmental and workplace health principles, focusing on hazard recognition and control. With at least 5 years of experience in an EHS role at an industrial facility, you will counsel management and employees effectively. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead compliance activities with EHS laws and regulations
- Improve EHS programs to eliminate hazards and reduce risks
- Support investigations of workplace incidents and root cause analyses




- Analyze data for Ergonomics, Noise, and Lockout/Tagout compliance
- Assist in EHS Projects and required reporting

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years experience in EHS roles
- Professional certification(s) such as CSP® or CIH preferred
- Solid communication skills for plant management collaboration
- Knowledge of harmful exposure risks and control measures
