Document and investigate security incidents and complaints according to established procedures.

Ensure all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out for each shift. Coach staff when necessary and ensure proper documentation is passed onto the Site Coordinator. Monitor and operate numerous systems including access control, CCTV, fire and life safety.

Answer telephones and dispatch calls in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID/Access cards Plan and implement shift work schedules to ensure adequate coverage Perform security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions Access control, property patrols, incident reporting, CCTV and fire panel monitoring, emergency response and customer service Maintain work flow to ensure that all daily,



weekly and monthly tasks and assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner and forwarded to management maintain compliance with established health and safety policies and procedures Greet tenants, clients and the general public Valid Security Guard license Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent/post-secondary diploma or degree Minimum 2 year security experience or related field High level of customer service Proficiency with Windows based software and knowledge of PC based incident reporting software Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire equipment and fire monitoring systems Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, Municipal laws and bi-laws Extensive Paid Industry Training Proficient in English (both oral and written) Paladin Security: We believe in promoting from within, respecting people and their differences, providing high quality service and always having fun!
