As Engineering Manager, Voyager, you will guide platform and innovation work across infrastructure, research, and production delivery. You will balance exploratory spikes with systems other teams depend on. The role combines technical judgment, people management, and cross-functional leadership across Relay.

Key Responsibilities: Own shared LLM systems through design, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle

Lead research initiatives evaluating emerging technologies and adoption recommendations

Provide tooling, patterns, and guidance for AI workflows

Plan and deliver platform and research initiatives





Hire, coach, and develop senior and staff-level engineers

Requirements: Production experience building reliable, observable, and safe agentic systems

Solid judgment about emerging technology and practical adoption

Experience managing senior-heavy engineering teams

Technical foundation for reviewing designs and challenging architecture

Experience shipping high-quality products in complex environments
