About Us The Bun Café & Playhouse is a welcoming, family-friendly play café designed to bring parents, caregivers, and children together in a comfortable and engaging workplace. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Entry-Level Barista to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn the art of coffee making in a fun, family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café menu items.
- Learn to operate and maintain professional espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other café equipment.
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service.
- Take customer orders and accurately process payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating areas, and customer service stations.
- Assist with preparing and serving light snacks, pastries, and other food items.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and notify management when items are running low.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment preparation.
- Help maintain a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere for parents, caregivers, and children.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- No previous barista experience required – we provide training!
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working in a family-oriented environment.




- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing quality products.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular café duties.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain it.
