- Inspect incoming materials, verify deliveries against shipping documentation, and maintain accurate delivery and material records.
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrect materials and anticipated material shortages to the Site Superintendent.
- Communicate and coordinate with trades, delivery drivers, and the site team to support safe and efficient material movement.
- Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and specifications to support accurate material placement and site activities.

- Provide traffic control and spotting/signalling as required for the safe movement of equipment, deliveries, and materials.
- Maintain site organization, including material storage areas, access routes, laydown areas, and general work areas.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance, and immediately report equipment defects or safety concerns.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas by removing debris, waste, and potential hazards.
- Operate hand and power tools and other site equipment as required.
- Assist carpenters, labourers, and other site workers as required to keep site operations moving efficiently.
- Follow all company safety requirements, site procedures, and applicable occupational health and safety requirements.

What You Bring

- Previous construction equipment operating experience is a solid asset, preferably in multi-family residential or commercial construction.
- Experience operating a telehandler/zoom boom and skid steer.
- Telehandler and skid steer certifications are preferred at the time of hire and must be obtained within the probationary period.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Current First Aid certification is an asset.
- Robust understanding of safe equipment operation, lifting practices, material handling, and construction-site safety.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to complete basic equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand site plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong communication,

organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable working as part of a busy construction team.

Work Conditions

- Working around moving equipment, construction activity, noise, dust, and other typical job-site hazards.
- Performing physically demanding work and repeatedly lifting materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Working overtime and weekends when required by project schedules.
- Travelling to the assigned job site(s) as required.
