About Us

We’re a family in Toronto’s Roncesvalles neighbourhood seeking a caring, dependable and experienced nanny for our baby boy, who turns one in November.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys this stage of childhood and wants to build a lasting relationship with our family. Previous experience caring for infants is required.

Schedule

- ⁠ ⁠Part-time, starting as soon as possible and continuing through December 7, 2026.
- ⁠ ⁠Transition to full-time planned for mid-January 2027.
- ⁠ ⁠Specific days, hours and arrangements between these dates to be discussed.

About the Role Our priority is providing attentive, nurturing care for our son. Responsibilities include:

- ⁠ ⁠Following his feeding and nap routines; preparing bottles and simple meals; and changing diapers.
- ⁠ ⁠Planning age-appropriate play, reading, music and activities that support his development.
- ⁠ ⁠Taking him for walks and to local parks, programs and activities.
- ⁠ ⁠Keeping his play and feeding areas tidy; washing bottles and dishes used during care; and helping with his laundry.
- ⁠ ⁠Communicating with us about his day,



routines and needs.

What We’re Looking For

- ⁠ ⁠Previous nanny or professional childcare experience with infants, supported by strong references.
- ⁠ ⁠A warm, patient and reliable caregiver who takes initiative and exercises good judgment.
- ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with infant safety, introducing solid foods and the transition to toddlerhood.
- ⁠ ⁠Current infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
- ⁠ ⁠Willingness to complete a vulnerable sector check.
- ⁠ ⁠Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- ⁠ ⁠Availability for the initial part time schedule and the transition to full-time.

Familiarity with Roncesvalles and nearby children’s programs is a welcome bonus. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
