Take carriage of family law files appropriate to your experience, from initial consultation through negotiation, litigation, and resolution. Develop practical litigation strategies in collaboration with senior counsel. Draft pleadings, affidavits, motion materials, briefs, settlement proposals, and domestic contracts.

Manage complex financial disclosure, property division, child and spousal support, and parenting matters. Negotiate with opposing counsel and pursue effective resolutions while remaining prepared for litigation. Work closely with law clerks and legal assistants to manage deadlines, court materials, and client communication.

Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Minimum 3 years of family law practice experience, including meaningful litigation experience.

Experience independently managing family law matters and appearing in Ontario courts. Strong legal drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills. Motivation to take ownership of your work and build a lasting career in family law litigation.
