Profile : Our client works in the pet food industry and is looking for a Quebec-based Field marketing specialist. You are the link between marketing, sales and retail partners. You will be the person in charge of the Quebec market, will work with the Quebec-based clients and work hand in hand with the sales reps located in the province.

You will focus on execution in the market, work with retailers on the promotion strategy and be the eyes and ears of the company in the field. You have experience in working with retailers and marketing experience. Please submit your resume in English.

Salary : Base $73,000-$76,000

Commissions/Bonus : 15% Bonus annually (divided twice a year)

Car allowance : $270/month + credit card for gas

Functions :

- Partner with Sales and retail accounts to build localized marketing and promotional plans




- Oversee the scope of retailer co-op activations and grassroots local initiatives (e.g., product sampling, experiential marketing, and field activations).
- Collaborate with Sales to develop customized growth initiatives and co-op marketing programs with key retail accounts.
- Support the execution of diverse marketing tactics
- Drive regional point-of-sale (POS) material and display strategy
- Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of regional trade shows
- Provide on-site support at key events
- Gather, analyze, and report on regional competitor activities
- Review and consult on French-language adaptations for large-scale marketing materials, product packaging, and major campaigns.

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Training : On the job training provided

Overnight Travel

Years of experience : 1-2 years of marketing experience especially in the retail space.
