OMNI Television, Canada’s only multilingual and multicultural television station is seeking a Full-time Video Journalist to join our Filipino news team in Vancouver.

The successful candidate will support the team in sourcing, chasing, reporting, developing, and presenting compelling news stories for the national broadcast. We’re seeking a passionate journalist with a strong commitment to news and a collaborative team spirit. Produce original stories in Tagalog that you will shoot and edit.

Respond to breaking news quickly and accurately. Voice, present, and chase stories for broadcast. Interview experts and sources within the community. Proven experience in journalism and media.

Experience writing, producing and/or reporting broadcast news in language. Superior communication, writing, organizational,



time management and interpersonal skills. Degree or diploma in journalism or broadcasting (or equivalent experience). To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted.
