Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting? Do you enjoy managing complex transactions while balancing multiple priorities across diverse portfolios? We are seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Private Debt & Loan Operations team.

In this role, you will support a CAD $10B private investment portfolio spanning asset classes. You will play a critical role in transaction processing, cash management, bank reconciliation, financial reporting and operational oversight, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts that enable a shift toward more strategic, value-added work. ** Support investment closings, including documentation review, investment setup, transaction recording, and settlement execution. Investigate, resolve, or escalation data and transaction issues within systems such as Aladdin and eFront.

Perform bank reconciliations and cash controls to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support internal stakeholders and decision-making.



Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

In 12 months, success will be based on the candidate’s ability to independently carry out tasks and assignments and well as solving problems related to private investment accounting, reconciliation and reporting.

The Financial

Analyst will be the subject matter expert for private investment transactions. 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance field and working towards completion of a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset. ~ Solid understanding of investment asset classes would be beneficial. ~ Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel functions to build spreadsheets and manipulate/analyze large datasets. ~ At AIMCo, we draw upon the differences in who we are, where we come from and the way we think to deliver results for the Albertans who rely on us.
