Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Full-Time Float Staff/ECA to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support classroom activities, assist with kitchen duties, and provide flexible coverage across various classrooms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and experience working with children or individuals with disabilities. Bilingual skills in English and French are a plus, as is experience in childcare, special education, or teaching environments. This position is essential in ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while supporting staff needs across multiple settings.

Duties

- Provide coverage for classrooms as needed, supporting teachers with daily activities and routines and breaks
- Assist in organizing the catering delivery and serving nutritious meals and snacks in the kitchen area as well as cleaning the dishes and kitchen when lunch is over
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and kitchen environment following health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with children, staff,



and families to foster positive relationships
- Support classroom management by implementing behavior guidance strategies under supervision
- Assist with administrative tasks such as documentation, lesson planning support, and record keeping
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations across multiple classroom
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Classroom experience in early childhood education or related settings is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency
- Robust communication skills, including writing and verbal abilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Experience working in childcare, special education, or teaching environments is a plus
- Familiarity with computer operation and basic computer skills for documentation purposes
- Leadership qualities and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within a dynamic environment

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
