Overview

We are seeking a friendly and productive Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer engagement.

Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Givex POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently while upselling menu items when appropriate
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas and dining spaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations




- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing workstations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions or concerns promptly

Skills

- Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Givex, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic kitchen experience or food handling knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure
- Upselling skills to promote menu items and enhance sales performance
