We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and repair, with hands-on experience using various tools and machinery. This role involves working in diverse environments, performing maintenance and repairs on equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on heavy equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret schematics to understand equipment functionality and repair requirements.
- Execute repair tasks as needed, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Assist in heavy lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with forklift repair practices is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to machinery operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Class 5 License with a clean abstract
