Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Building Cleaner (unionized) to maintain the cleanliness and safety of a large residential condominium complex in the east end of Toronto (near a subway station). This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, welcoming workplace for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Union membership applies per the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common and amenity areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times




- Follow health & safety procedures and protocols

Skills

- 2 or more years of cleaning experience in residential, commercial, or institutional sites
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic building upkeep
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods, and climb stairs
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
- Fluent in English, reliable, and punctual
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $22.94-$23.19 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
