The Mortgage

Underwriter will report to the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting. With a strong emphasis on service excellence and risk assessment, you will evaluate mortgage applications, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with established guidelines. This position demands proactive communication and organization in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Adjudicate mortgage applications within authority limits
- Build solid relationships with mortgage brokers and partners




- Ensure due diligence for mortgage conditions
- Prepare and issue mortgage commitments promptly
- Stay updated on industry trends and competition Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage underwriting experience
- Completed post-secondary education or equivalent work
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
