About Mecka AI

Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.

We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.

We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware. You will build the software platform that connects Mecka's capture devices, operations, and customers. As data collection grows, your work will let people operate a distributed fleet and put its data to use through reliable systems and clear interfaces.

You will own production software from architecture through deployment and operation, with depth in service reliability or developer experience. Own service and API design for connected hardware and data-intensive workflows, including the data models behind them. Build telemetry, diagnostics, and operational tools that help engineers understand how devices and services are behaving.

Develop APIs, SDKs, and command-line tools that help hardware and data customers integrate Mecka into their workflows. Test complete user workflows end to end, and maintain documentation, monitoring, and backward compatibility as the platform evolves. 5+ years of software engineering experience, including solid backend programming and operating production services in a language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.





Depth in at least one of these areas: Service reliability: telemetry, monitoring, diagnostics, and operational tooling for distributed systems.

Experience designing APIs, data schemas, and databases, with practical knowledge of SQL and query performance. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, automated testing, versioning, and release practices. Ability to debug across services, client software, and device interfaces.

Experience with connected hardware or operational web applications.

Experience building public SDKs or working with large video and sensor datasets. You own mistakes, share credit, and help the people around you succeed.
