We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials for construction, or related projects . This role requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and equipment maintenance.

Job responsibilities

· Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders, graders, and other machinery as assigned.

o Examples of various equipment types:

o Excavator – John Deeer 250 G o Komatsu Dozer – D65

o Grader John Deere 772 D o Rock Truck – John Deere 250 D o Rock Truck - Terex o Komatsu – WA 380

o Skid Steer – TR310B o Dump Truck – (Class One) Would also be a benefit

· Transparent brush and stumps, excavate trenches and foundations, grade surfaces, and move materials around the job site

· Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections on equipment to ensure it is in safe and efficient working order,



checking fluid levels, controls, and safety features

· Clean, lubricate, and service equipment. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to attachments and machinery

· Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations and company policies. Operate equipment according to safety rules and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Effectively communicate with ground crew, supervisors, and other operators via hand signals, two-way radios, and other communication devices

· Continuously changing work tasks

· Must have knowledge of equipment inspections/daily pre-trip/fluids/hydraulic system

Experience

· 2 – 4 years heavy equipment operator experience

· Class 1 license preferred
