Overview

We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers to operate commercial vehicles for Calgary Switches. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of vehicle operation. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate AZ licensed trucks for freight transportation to and from Calgary Switches locations

- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues

- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols,



and company policies during transit and at loading/unloading sites

- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness

Skills

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred

- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards

- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance

- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients

- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: From $8,000.00 per month
