Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated home child care provider to join our family and contributing to the nurturing and development of our children. You will help to provide essential support and assistance to our five children of different age groups. You must have a passion for working with autistic children, and possess the skills necessary to create engaging and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Change diapers
- Follow parents' lead with toilet training
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- prepare children for rest periods




- Take children to and from school and appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Help children with homework
- Cook for children

Experience and specialization

- Experience working with autistic children will be highly valued.
- Classroom experience or early childhood education background is a plus, particularly for those working with special needs children.

Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
