Are you a hands-on HR qualified who enjoys building processes, supporting employees, and partnering directly with business leaders? We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support two privately owned and growing food-related businesses, including a food manufacturing/retail operation and a distribution company.

This is a unique opportunity to serve as the sole HR resource for approximately 80 employees, providing strategic and day-to-day HR support across both organizations. Reporting directly to ownership, you will play a key role in strengthening HR practices, supporting leaders, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Acting as the primary HR contact across both businesses
- Building and enhancing HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition
- Managing onboarding and employee integration activities
- Providing employee relations support and coaching managers on performance management matters
- Conducting workplace investigations and supporting corrective action processes
- Administering ADP time and attendance for hourly employees
- Supporting payroll administration and maintaining employee records
- Leading health and safety initiatives, training, and incident management
- Coordinating leaves of absence, accommodations,



and return-to-work programs
- Preparing HR reports, metrics, and workforce insights for ownership
- Driving process improvements and supporting organizational change initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies
