Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of skilled experience with an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or technology consulting firm.

5+ years of IGA implementation experience, including enterprise identity governance solution design and delivery.

Hands-on experience deploying and configuring SailPoint IdentityIQ, not solely supporting adjacent IAM products.

Strong software development and complex configuration experience using Java, BeanShell, XML, web services, SOAP, or SPML.

Experience integrating identity-governance platforms with LDAP, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, relational databases, and enterprise applications.

Working knowledge of IGA/IAM architecture, role-based access control, least-privilege models, and identity governance best practices.

Extensive customer-facing experience gathering requirements, presenting architecture, advising implementation partners, and communicating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a SailPoint IdentityIQ Solution Architect to come onboard! This individual will serve as the technical lead on customer identity governance projects, translating business use cases into product requirements and scalable solution designs. They will guide clients and implementation partners on architecture, configuration, delivery strategy,

and IGA best practices while supporting hands-on technical delivery through code and complex configurations.

The role requires strong customer-facing communication and the ability to operate as a trusted technical advisor across customers, partners, and implementation teams.

- Gather customer business use cases and translate them into documented product requirements and recommended solution designs.
- Educate customers and implementation partners on product architecture, functional design, identity governance, and implementation best practices.
- Scope implementation projects and contribute to technical analysis, project documentation, resource planning, schedules, and delivery status.
- Design creative technical solutions for complex identity governance and access-management challenges.
- Perform hands-on technical delivery through Java or BeanShell code, integrations, workflows, rules, and complex product configurations.
- Develop and deliver technical training that enables implementation partners and less-experienced team members.
- Serve as a consultative technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal implementation teams.
